Modules in process control, drive systems, power engineering
Experience
1+ years programming plcs using Function block language.
Integrated control schemes ( 3+ PLCs, 2+ HMI PCs with ethernet and fieldbus comms)
Experienced user of Microsoft Word and Excel
DESIRABLE
Ladder language
Programming of GE-Fanuc PLCs
Projects in Metals industry
Projects including variable speed drive systems
Experience of onsite commissioning
Experienced user of Microsoft Access

Automation engineer for Metals Mills and process lines.
MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
Detailed design of PLC (Programmer Logic Controller) and HPC (High Performance Controller) software
Configuration and Coding of PLCs and HPCs
Unit and integrated testing
Commissioning including I/O testing, functional tests and combined tests
